I wanted to see what Jenna thought about all the crazy coincidences that centered around the Every April script. So we met for coffee and I ran through the whole story for her. The T-shirt Iron-on package with all the coincidences was on the table in front of us.
She took it all in, then indicated the time stamp.
JZ. Jenna Zablocki. And the month is April. She went on.
"The guy who's going to produce this for you is Jerry Wolff. "
Surprise surprise, There is also a Jerry in Every April. One of the bigger roles.
She continued on. "I also just booked the lead in this film called Ryan and Aurora ride again. Oh, and I also just snagged a big part in Repo Chick, the sequel to Repo Man."
Remember that we started the video portion with Repo Man? Let's revisit that clip.
That whole bit about there being "A lattice of coincidence" seems a bit more plausible to me now...
Especially when she dropped this one on me. Jerry produced a movie for her to star in with Michael Madsen and Michael Muhney. It was about Angels and other dimensions.
It was called "The Portal".
Now factor in that I'm trying to help people understand how conceptual portals work through my Every April script, and now she's starring in a film about Portals, with two Michael's, and her character's name is April.
Please really take a moment and think about that one.
